Our connections within the community continue to grow.  Employers who have hired our recent Achievers are now seeking additional men from our program due to the outstanding work ethic they portray.  A special thanks to the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) and related agencies for their continued collaboration since our inception.  The outstanding support from their agents and representatives is very much appreciated.  Together we continue to develop methods that help our returning citizens make a successful transition back into our communities.

As our needs continue to grow, please consider becoming involved as a life coach (men only) or a skills trainer (men & women).

Simple training and a heart for helping others is all that’s required. Your investment of a few hours each month makes a difference! Please contact us if you’re interested in becoming involved.

We thank our Lord for all of you who have and continue to share your time, talents, and treasures with our program.  Your involvement is helping Re-Connections to become the preferred program for returning citizens of Genesee County who desire to move forward in their lives.

SAVE THE DATE:  Our 2nd Annual Appreciation Dinner is being planned for Thursday, October 27th from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Flint Elks Country Club in Grand Blanc.  Please join us as we celebrate the success of our Achievers as they share their “Journey to Employment”.  Plan to bring a friend and be inspired by the success stories of the Re-Connections program during the last year.

August 2016

We celebrate the five men of Class #5 who have completed all requirements to become our newest Achievers Club Members. Their graduation ceremony included many friends and family members and was our largest crowd ever!  This event is always a moving experience and you are welcome to attend a future ceremony.  Class #6 is planned to begin mid-September and Achievement Day is set for Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
